On the morning of March 9, Jimu News reporter learned from the Jiuxi Town Government that the Ruoshui Children's Choir is a choir affiliated to Majiazhuang Primary School, Jiuxi Town, Jiangchuan District, Yuxi City, and is organized by the school Pu Hailing, a former music teacher, initiated the formation of the group in November 2020 and served as the conductor. In 2023, due to job relocation, Pu Hailing was unable to continue teaching in the Ruoshui Children's Choir. Now Pu Hailing's sister Pu Hailan takes over the choir and serves as the conductor. The choir has achieved great results in various competitions at all levels: in 2021, it won the silver medal in the vp4 group of the 11th World Choral Games Video Competition, in 2022, it won the silver medal in the a1 group of the World Choir Festival, and in the 8th and 9th China Children's Choir Festival Silver Award in Group A, first place in the primary school group of Yuxi City's "Nie Er Cup" Primary and Secondary School Students Chorus Competition, Ruoshui Children's Choir has also appeared in the Shanghai Concert Hall's "Golden Childhood" Choral Symphony Concert, Yuxi's "Nie Er's 110th Birthday" Special concerts and other stages.
