The fifth part "Ancient Love Song"
Rating: 8.6
Starring: Zhang Yaqin/Guo Jianan/Zhu Linyu
Plot review: The highlight of this drama is to outline the growth line of the heroine, from a slave girl in the countryside to To check and balance the treacherous queen who protects the imperial power, Lu Yuan has been learning to be strong and support the country alone, learning to face the silent departure of the male protagonist again and again, gains and losses, hopes and disappointments. Mental torture and realistic pressure make this female character smarter and tougher. This is her moving point and the shining point of the play. Lu Yuan's biggest wish is to live in seclusion in Nanhu with the male protagonist; all her skills, such as insight, cognition, and information science, were taught by the male protagonist. The logic behind these settings is still "women are dependent on men." In fact, being a heroine who controls the court is not that simple, and it is not something that a commoner like the male protagonist can teach. However, in web dramas, there is no need to be serious.
The fourth part " Blossoms "
rating: 8.5
Starring: Hu Ge / Ma Yili / Tang Yan
Plot comments: The casting is great, the characters are plump and flesh and blood. I like Miss Wang very much, and her relationship with the male protagonist is the best. The synopsis of the plot is not my favorite drama, but the result surprised me. Rather than a personal history of struggle, it is more like showing the Shanghai society at that time from Abao's perspective. It is supported by history and culture and has a profound foundation. It is indeed Mao Dun. Literary award style hahaha. When I first watched it, I thought Hu Ge was really handsome, the camera was beautiful, and the background music was cool. The front is eye-catching, the middle is a bit boring, and the back is a bit interesting. Personally, I feel that there are a lot of hidden meanings in the shots and lines, which makes it look strong. Overall it's okay. The whole drama feels very thoughtful, and the Shanghainese version has a sense of immersion. Overall, needless to say, I’m ready to go for the second brush!
The third part "Go to Where the Wind Is"
Rating: 8.7
Starring: Liu Yifei / Li Xian / Hu Bingqing
Plot review: I have always wanted to watch this drama since it first came out, but for some reasons I have never had time to watch it. I finally finished watching it almost a year after it came out. It’s really good, a very real drama, very healing, and will make you full of strength. And everyone has their own story and shining points, and they all have distinct and full characters. The biggest feeling is to cherish the people around you and learn to enjoy every bit of beauty in life. What's even more rare is that there is no intrigue in the play, only blue sky, white clouds, clear skies, mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, and the wind flowing between people, blowing hope. In short, I am very grateful to "Go to the Windy Place" and thank everyone at the Windy Courtyard for curing my winter and giving me the courage to come again at the lowest moment.
The second part of " Three Body "
rating: 8.7
Starring: Zhang Luyi / Yu Hewei / Chen Jin
Plot review: I haven't read the book yet, but it is highly recommended based on the movie viewing experience. Therefore, to call it the veritable return of the king in domestic dramas, I think it is well deserved! And the overall stamina is strong. After watching it, I couldn't watch anything else for a long time, and I just thought about the classic judgments of great history. There are group portraits and clues, and each character is plump and three-dimensional, not just a background. The rhythm control is very wonderful, and it is the kind of film that you can't let go of. Fortunately, it had already finished airing when I watched it, otherwise I would be in a panic just to follow the show. In short, "The Three-Body Problem" is said to be the pioneer of Chinese science fiction TV series. The real science fiction has never been special effects, but imagination. There is no grand scene like American science fiction, but you can still be surprised by its imagination.
The first part of " The Long Season "
Rating: 9.4
Starring: Fan Wei / Qin Hao / Chen Minghao
Plot review: Three timelines run in parallel, using barrage to distinguish the past and present. This is the first time I saw the drama, and watched the previous few I thought it was over-rated when I watched the episode, but after watching the last episode I felt it was worth it. Although the ending was a bit idealistic, it would have been perfect if Shen Mo hadn't been caught. I like watching the plot surrounding Shen Mo more than watching the gags of the three old men. The bloody reality, the distortion of human nature, and the darkness of society are despairing.Biaozi is both good and miserable, but in fact, whether he exists or not does not affect the development of the main plot. The most regrettable thing is that the uncle Shen Dongliang, the source of all evil, died too late. He should not have lived for another twenty years. He should have been thrown into the sewer garbage dump with the broken corpses, or entered the steel-making furnace with Hong Kong businessmen. In short, the best domestic drama in 2023 is well deserved!
