On January 25, 40 episodes of the urban inspirational comedy "My Family Married Mulan", in which comedian Gong Hanlin served as chief director and screenwriter for the first time, premiered exclusively on LeTV Video's "On Demand Hall". Through three story lines: workplace, studio and family, the play uses a light comedy style that is close to life, fresh and humorous, and reflects many hot social topics such as workplace injustice, business wars, love and family relationships.
This drama is also the first time Gong Hanlin has met the audience as a TV drama director and screenwriter. "My Family Married Mulan" is a comedy that focuses on reality. This time, Gong Hanlin turns his attention to gender discrimination in the workplace. Talking about the original intention of creating the play, he revealed that he heard the speeches of female members at the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference about gender discrimination against women in the workplace. This social injustice of "Wu Dalang rather than Mu Guiying" worried him , hoping that the broadcast of the drama will attract widespread attention from the whole society. The heroine Jin Yingjie (played by Xi Wang) in the play encounters various setbacks in the job search process. One important reason is simply because she is a woman. Faced with the open discrimination of some companies that "only recruit boys, not girls", she disguises herself as a man. Hao Xin (played by Gong Tiankuo) joins Hao Xin (played by Gong Tiankuo) as a "male secretary" in the Good Luck Clothing Company, which can be called a working version of "Mulan". From this, a series of ridiculous stories happen, and she has proven her ability time and time again... …Who says women are inferior to men?
The second highlight of "My Family Married Hua Mulan" is that Gong Hanlin invited 21 crosstalk actors and many comedians to star in and participate in the show. These include, directed by Gong Hanlin, Jin Lei, Ying Ning, starring Gong Tiankuo, Xi Wang, Gong Hanlin, Jin Zhu, Xu Xiyan, You Xianchao, Fang Qingping , Li Weijian , Bai Kainan , Miao Fu , Liu Liu, Liu Hui, Pan Changjiang, Li Jing, Mao Wei, He Yunwei, Chi Yongzhi, Hou Zhenpeng, Chen Yinquan, Wang Yuning, Hui Xiu, Wan Yu, Fu Qiang, Chen Xi, Hou Linlin, Guo Tianyi, Wang Lan, Fangyuan Yuan, Yin Beichen, Wang Xinyue, Wang Xiaoying, Li Xuege, Huang Doudou, Gao Yixin and many other crosstalk and comedians participated.
