Apple today released the 6B34 firmware update for AirPods Pro 2 headphones with Lightning and USB-C ports, , which is higher than the 6B32 firmware launched in November.
Apple's practice does not provide details of firmware updates, but only mentions "fixing errors and bringing other improvements", etc. It is not clear what new features it will bring.
Users cannot manually update AirPods to a new firmware version. They only need to connect AirPods to iPhone via Bluetooth and the new firmware version will be automatically installed.
tvOS 17.2 RC version
IT House also noticed that Apple also released the tvOS 17.2 RC preview version update today, one week away from the Beta 4 version.
tvOS 17.2 redesigns the Apple TV app, introducing a new sidebar that lists content from different apps and streaming services, including Apple TV+.
The sidebar features dedicated sections for Search, Watch Now, Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, Sports, Shop and Library.
In a separate Channels & Apps area, users can access content from specific streaming services integrated with the TV app, with options including ABC, CBS, Comedy Central, Hulu, ESPN, Discovery, Peacock, Prime Video, and more.
