movie "Kashgar Guli" was jointly produced by the Central Propaganda Department's Film Satellite Channel Program Production Center (movie channel) and China News Service Xinjiang Branch, and was produced by China News Service Xinjiang Branch, Kashgar Ancient City Tourism Development Co., Ltd., and Beijing Yihua Culture Co., Ltd. Co-produced by the company and Xinjiang Hualing Film Co., Ltd. The
film tells that Liang Peng, a male teacher from a middle school in Shenzhen, fell in love with Yuan Xue, a teacher of the Nei Gao class from Kashgar, Xinjiang. Yuan Xue had no choice but to "reject" because of unspeakable concealment, but left a Tajik eagle flute as a promise. Six years later, Liang Peng came to Kashgar to look for Yuan Xue. Liang's mother sent Achang and others to follow him to bring him back to Shenzhen. Various stories happened during the period. The
crew filmed in many "tourist check-in locations" such as the "Hundred Years Tea House" and "Sky Garden" in the ancient city of Kashgar. When a light comedy telling contemporary love stories, "Encounters" the ancient city, produced a different kind of excitement. The film’s director Fang Junliang said: “The main line of the movie tells a love story. The audience can approach the ancient city of Kashgar and learn about the local culture as the story happens.” Jia Zhaoqiang, the chief editor of the film channel who went to Kashgar to explore the group, said, “Kashgar Guli” In the form of light comedy, it presents the Kashgar folk customs, city style and simple folk customs to the audience, and eulogizes the friendship between people of all ethnic groups. It is reported that in addition to Kashgar, the film was shot in Ta County on the Pamir Plateau. The film will be finalized in Shenzhen on November 10 and is expected to premiere on the film channel in the first half of 2020. (End)
