What is a constitution?

The Constitution is the fundamental law of the country. It stipulates the basic system and fundamental tasks of the country, and is the basic legal norm of people's behavior. It is the core of a country's independent, complete and systematic legal system and the cornerstone of a country's legal system.

The constitution has 143 articles in total, which are composed of four parts. Specifically, the constitution of our country is divided into the following parts:

Constitution Article 45 Citizens of the People's Republic of China have the right to material assistance from the state and society when they are old, ill or disabled. The state develops social insurance, social relief and medical and health services that citizens need to enjoy these rights.

The state and society guarantee the lives of disabled soldiers, provide pensions to the families of martyrs, and give preferential treatment to the families of military personnel.

The state and society help arrange the work, life and education of the blind, deaf, dumb and other disabled citizens.
