Zhao Chenxin said that the proportion of GDP in the central and western regions of the country has increased from 21.3% and 19.6% in 2012 to 22% and 21.1% in 2021. The economic development of the Northeast region has gradually stabilized, and structural adjustment is steadily advancing. In recent years, China's three northeastern provinces have accounted for more than 1/5 of the country's grain output, 1/4 of the country's total commercial grain, and about 1/3 of the grain export volume, making it a more consolidated position as my country's largest granary.
