The screenwriter and director of the show Hwang Dong-Hyuk (Hwang Dong-Hyuk) revealed: "There will be no Hollywood actors in the second season. It is not in the plan, if the stage changes, maybe in the third season, but in the second season Season 2, it's still set in South Korea. Leonardo DiCaprio says he's a huge fan of the squid games so we can invite him to the game if time and opportunity allow."
Season 2 of the award-winning film Filming will begin in 2023, with a 2024 release. The
squid game, which revolves around several cash-strapped individuals competing for money in deadly children's games, became the most popular show of all time. In fact, it was the first non-English-language drama to be nominated in a major drama category.
