Although Taiwanese films also have many excellent films, due to the special cultural influence of the region, most of Taiwanese films describe local culture, which has too many limitations. In general, Taiwanese movies are indeed far inferior to Hong Kong movies.
Finally, in terms of the total output value and impact of the movie. Hong Kong movies have been influencing our generations of Chinese since the 1980s and 1990s. Due to the influence of regional culture, Taiwanese films have always been based on Hokkien in the 1980s, and there are too many limitations. Although there are occasional good-looking Taiwanese films spread in the Chinese-speaking world, the influence of Hong Kong films is far behind. In terms of total output value, the total output value of Hong Kong films has always ranked first in the Chinese world, and Taiwanese films are far worse than that.
