After this change, Qingdao Wudaokou officially became the actual controlling shareholder of Chery. With regard to the change of
executives, Chery Holdings has 7 executives withdrew and 7 new executives, including Zhou Jianmin and Jiao Shuge. As many as 29 senior executives of Chery Automobile withdrew, including Guo Qian and other Chery veterans. Among the 10 new executives were Zhou Jianmin and Zhou Jiannan.
It is worth noting that Caijing.com previously reported that Zhou Jianmin will serve as the vice chairman of Chery Holdings and Chery Automobile, and Zhou Jiannan will serve as the director of Chery Holdings.
Zhou Jiannan has a deep financial background, has more than 20 years of financial and securities work experience, is familiar with the audit process of listed companies, and has worked for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the Supervision Department of Listed Companies of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Dacheng Fund, Everbright Securities, etc.
For many years, Chery has been seeking an overall listing. Zhou Jiannan will obviously be the key figure for Chery to enter the capital market. In terms of registered capital, Chery Holdings increased from about 4.278 billion yuan to about 6.2 billion yuan, an increase of 44.9%; Chery Automobile's registered capital increased to 5.47 billion yuan, an increase of 22.73%.
In addition, with the change of controlling rights, the types of market entities of Chery Holdings and Chery Automobile have changed from state-owned holding to other joint stock companies. At the business scope level, Chery Automobile has also added value-added telecommunications services.
