"My name is Zlada and I am 11 years old." Recently, the reporter saw Zlada at the primary school affiliated to the Municipal Teachers Training School, with big eyes, curved eyelashes, and fair skin. He smiled mischievously at you, and amazed the reporter with his fluent Chinese.
Eight years ago, Zlada came to China with her parents and settled in Haining. Now, she is a fifth-grade student of the primary school attached to the Municipal Teachers' Training School.
"My first impression of Haining is that people are very enthusiastic." Zlada loves to say and laughs, "I went to the kindergarten after coming to Haining. The first time I went to kindergarten, the children rushed to hug me. I'm not afraid at once." She quickly integrated into the class and learned Chinese like a sponge. She is cheerful and has been the backbone of the class from kindergarten to elementary school. She has participated in many singing competitions on behalf of the class and school.
"I have inherited my dad from singing well," Zlada said. Zlada's father has been singing part-time in a bar since high school. He can play guitar, piano and various instruments, arrange and record music. He is also a well-known singer in her hometown of Vladivostok.
"Since childhood, our family will sing together." Zlada drew with hands, "We sit in a circle, father plays the guitar, mother plays the rhythm, and my sister and I sing." In a family atmosphere full of music Zladan can sing and dance, not only can sing, but also ballet, Chinese dance, street dance and other dances. In every competition, Zlada's father would choose songs and arrange music with her, and adjust the pitch of the accompaniment according to Zlada's range. Although
has participated in many singing competitions, Zlada still feels very nervous in this competition. "First of all, I signed up before the registration deadline. I didn't have much time to prepare. I felt very urgent. This time, I want to sing a Chinese song, but I don't know which one to choose." At the time, Zlada's She was studying Yue opera and Peking opera in her music class. She wanted to try to sing this, but later found out that it didn’t work. “Drama is difficult to sing, and I don’t have enough time to practice.”
seems to have to choose a familiar song, Zlada I thought about it for a long time with my dad, "Then for an instant, my dad and I looked at each other, and the two of them said'Greater China' in unison." Speaking of this interesting story, Zlada laughed. Before the
game, Zlada conducted assault training under the guidance of his father. Sing it over and over again, point out mistakes, correct them, and practice for nearly two hours every day. "Although I have a sore throat, I still find it interesting. My dream is to be a singer." She said with a grin.
Zlada, who has been studying and living in Haining for 8 years, can speak authentic Haining dialect in addition to fluent Mandarin. It can be said that she is now an out-and-out Haining native.
Kenyan girl loves Shanghai Ning
Unlike Zlada, Kelly from Kenya is a very quiet girl. On the audition stage, she brought the English song "Heal the world". But when she opened her mouth, her pure, simple voice made people couldn't help but give a thumbs up.
"My name is Kaili, I am 11 years old this year." She said softly. Compared with Zlada, her Chinese level is not good, and she can only make simple expressions.
Kelly is from Kenya. Her mother works as a teacher in an English training institution in Haining. Two years ago,She followed her mother to Haining. When she came, she couldn't speak a word of Chinese. Now, not only can she understand part of it, but she can also understand the names of the children, so she can distribute homework books for everyone.
"The learning environment here is good, classmates and teachers are very friendly. I like it very much." Kaili told reporters that she likes science and is interested in space knowledge.
"When we first came to school, we were worried that she would not be able to keep up and wanted her to go to the third grade, but her mother wanted her to go to the fifth grade. After discussing it, she went to the fourth grade." Teacher Shen from the primary school affiliated to the Municipal Teachers' Training School smiled Said, "Kelly's English often gets perfect scores, and she writes her Chinese composition in English, so our English teacher will also translate to the Chinese teacher."
"No one in our family can sing." Compared to "a family of music" Zlada, the shy little girl also joked. When she first came to Haining, because she couldn't speak a word of Chinese, she was left at home, and her mother's friend taught her Chinese. Therefore, most of the time, Kelly can only stay at home alone. "I have nothing to do. I can only watch TV and listen to music. Then, I like singing." The quiet little girl often hummed alone.
Once, she saw an English song on the book, "This is "Heal the world"." She practiced repeatedly and used it to pass the audition for this Chaoxiang Bailing Children's Vocal Competition.
At the moment, the rematch of the Chaoxiang Bailing Children's Vocal Competition is about to start, and Kaili has also selected the repertoire. "In the rematch, I will sing "I know who i am", hoping to make it to the final." Kaili said a little shyly.
