As Happy Twist’s first four-city play, the first round of the musical "Wing Chun" will be performed in Foshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing, with a total of 27 performances. It will have its first nationwide premiere in Foshan, the birthplace of Wing Chun. Performed, and then launched a national tour, allowing audiences from different regions to enter the theater to experience the shocking charm of the musical "Wing Chun". It is also a new interpretation and inheritance of the traditional Chinese culture "Wing Chun".
The musical "Wing Chun" is full of admiration for traditional culture. According to reports, the musical "Wing Chun" specially invited the third generation of Wing Chun descendants of the Ye family to participate in the play. The entire crew worked hard to learn the real skills and strive to present the charm of Wing Chun on the stage with real fists and kicks. The stage design is inspired by the fishermen culture of the Lingnan area. Ropes are boldly used instead of curtains, and together with Dou Gong and other local elements of Guangdong, they outline a world, showing the aesthetic tension of life and the arena without boundaries. The music is even more ingenious. Rap music runs throughout, using high-burning melodies and strong rhythms to show the flow of Wing Chun moves, and to present a passionate, powerful and true Wing Chun story three-dimensionally on the stage. The main creative team of
is composed of domestic first-line musical creative talents. Ma Da serves as the director, Xu Xiao and Duan Sisi serve as the composers, and Zhang Enshu serves as the choreographer. Gathering together are Xiaolin, Liu Yixuan, Wang Jingqi, Han Jingru and other top-notch young actors in Chinese musicals.
