The winner of the 2023 TGA Best Game Award, "Baldur's Gate 3", was developed by Larian Studio. The award of this award triggered heated discussions among players. In the officially released photo, Larian Studio founder Swen Vincke was holding the trophy and looked very excited.
Many players expressed their congratulations on the award and believed that "Baldur's Gate 3" and Larian Studio deserved this honor. However, some players ridiculed TGA in the comment area, believing that they did not give Swen enough time to give an acceptance speech during the awards process.
