The United States, Italy, Japan, South Korea, India, etc. have adopted the latest epidemic prevention measures for Chinese immigrants

(Global Travel News, December 28, 2022) The United States is considering strengthening epidemic prevention measures for Chinese immigrants. U.S. government officials said on the 27th that the U.S. government may implement new entry control measures for passengers traveling from China to the United States.

Italy stated that starting from December 24, Milan Malpensa Airport will conduct entry nucleic acid testing for all passengers from China (regardless of nationality), and this policy will be temporarily implemented until January 30, 2023. Will re-evaluate whether to proceed.

Japan stated that it will strengthen entry epidemic prevention measures from December 30, 2022. For all personnel who have been to Japan from mainland China and have been to China within 7 days, a new crown test will be implemented upon entry. People who test positive for the new crown are quarantined for seven days in principle, and will restrict the increase in the number of flights between China and Japan, including flights with mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau that can only use 4 airports in Japan.

The South Korean Agency for Disease Control and Prevention has included China in the list of "Key Countries for Quarantine Inspection" on December 16. This measure is not an entry restriction measure, but an increase in entry screening for objects with high infection risks and requiring centralized management during the Incheon International Airport quarantine period. Entry personnel whose body temperature exceeds 37.5 degrees Celsius are usually classified as symptomatic, while the standard for key quarantine objects is 37.3 degrees Celsius. If the body temperature of an entry from a key country exceeds 37.3 degrees Celsius, he and his companions need to undergo nucleic acid testing together.

India stated that passengers from China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand need to submit nucleic acid reports when entering the country. Passengers are required to submit a nucleic acid report on the Indian government website and have their body temperature checked when the flight arrives. Travelers from these countries will be quarantined if they develop symptoms or test positive.
