The towns within 50 kilometers include Biliuhe Town, Jibuku Town, , Quanzijie Town, , and Dongwan Town , Banjiegou Town , Dayou Town , Qihu Township , Daquan Tatar Township , Xindi Township.
The epicenter is 54 kilometers away from Jimsar County, 54 kilometers away from Qitai County, 68 kilometers away from Gaochang District, 80 kilometers away from Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County, 89 kilometers away from Daban City, 67 kilometers away from Turpan City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture175 kilometers, 144 kilometers away from Urumqi City. The average altitude of within 5 kilometers of the epicenter is about 2903 meters.
