On November 27, the movie "The Great Breakout" released the ultimate poster with the theme of "Break through the darkness and become the light I want!" The film will be released on November 29. It is the first film based on the history of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University. A movie based on the heroic, tenacious and unafraid of sacrifice spirit of Mr. Kang.
In January 1939, the central government decided to move the first branch of the Anti-Japanese University eastward to the Shandong Anti-Japanese Base Area to run a school. In January 1940, the first branch of the Anti-Japanese University successfully arrived in the Yimeng Mountain area. The first branch of the Anti-Japanese War went deep into the battlefield behind enemy lines, directly participated in countless battles and counter-"mopping up", and made an indelible contribution to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Among them, the Daqingshan breakout battle that took place in the Yimeng Mountains on November 29th and 30th, 1941 was the most tragic battle in which the Anti-Japanese Army directly participated as the main force. At the tragic cost of more than 600 casualties, this battle covered the successful breakout of the 115th Division Headquarters, the Shandong Branch of the CPC Central Committee, the Shandong Provincial War Trade Union and other party, government and military agencies.
The movie "The Great Breakout" tells and reproduces the famous "Da Qingshan Breakout Battle". The main creator said, "We made this movie with awe because of the great sacrifices made by the heroes to resist the invaders. It is worthy of our awe and respect. Only by being meticulous can we better demonstrate the value of life and the meaning of sacrifice.”
The film abandons grand narratives and cuts into the big era with small characters. It uses the story of young students who overcame difficulties and grew up rapidly under the care and guidance of the principal and teachers. It also reflects the shadow of the entire country under the Japanese invasion in that era. In the darkness, people's tenacity and belief in breaking through obstacles and moving toward the light have created a group of young people with ideals, ambitions, and feelings for their family and country in a difficult environment.
From the project preparation, creation, shooting and production, the movie "The Breakout" took up to 6 years. The enthusiastic performance of 26,000 college students as "group actors" jointly shaped "Youth in War" and created a good story with "the highest academic level group actors".
