The play is adapted from Wu Yan's science fiction masterpiece "China Orbital" and is a major A science fiction stage play for teenagers. It is reported that "China Orbital Number Spring" is the first work in the "China Orbital Number" series, and there will be three more works of "Summer", "Autumn" and "Winter" in the future. In the story, the Air Force Equipment Research Institute received an urgent order from the Military Commission to complete the China Orbital project within a short period of time and send China's first manned spacecraft into space. The children in the military uniform station were happy about this, but they had to keep it secret. The story is told from the perspective of the children in the compound, showing the enthusiasm of the younger generation for the space industry. The original novel won the 11th National Outstanding Children's Literature Award and the 2nd Children's Science Fiction Nebula Gold Award.
