From program production to self-made movies

Cai Wenwu, a native of Lishu, Jilin, graduated from the School of Communication Science (School of Journalism) of Northeast Normal University in 2007. With his resume from a prestigious school and excellent professional quality, Cai Wenwu successfully entered Jilin TV Station after graduation and successively planned, directed and directed "Film and TV Malatang", "La Daju", "La Daju", "Entertainment Everywhere", "Chinese Arts" More than 20 TV programs including "Test" were broadcast on Changchun TV, Jilin TV, Shenzhen TV, Henan TV, China Education TV, and China Central Radio and Television.

After graduating with a master's degree in 2010, Cai Wenwu, who had an excellent resume, received an olive branch from a southern university. However, after repeated consideration, he gave up his tutor's recommendation and chose to teach at the School of Journalism and Communication of Jilin Normal University. During this period, he taught 6 professional courses including "Film and Television Directing" and "New Media Program Planning and Production", guided students to participate in more than 100 competitions, and taught more than 1,500 graduates of the radio and television directing major.

In 2012, inspired by the trend of the times of "mass innovation and entrepreneurship", Cai Wenwu became the helmsman of Changchun Sense Culture Media Co., Ltd. ("Sense Media" for short) and started his entrepreneurial career. The main business of "Shense" covers feature film production, documentary/feature/advertising film production, variety show/party planning and production, and large-scale event planning and execution. The reason why film and television production is the first choice for the company's business is because Cai Wenwu discovered through study and inspection that the industrial layout of media companies in the leading areas of industry development such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhejiang basically takes film creation as the leader, and as a Changchun, the movie city of "Oriental Hollywood", rarely has a media company with such a layout. Therefore, when the company had not yet determined a unified development plan, he decided against all opinions to pursue a sustainable development path for the film and television industry.

Through policy support, project guidance and publicity assistance, they have made great achievements in various fields. With the strong support from the company, the team has experienced a promising turn of events. In the following time, Cai Wenwu led the team to delve into creation, carefully crafted the script, and began to improve production techniques. He successively completed the filming of the theatrical film "Rural Youth" and the online film "Changbai Mountain Tianchi Water Monster". Both films achieved double success in terms of social benefits and commercial returns. "This is our film with the best box office performance. With an investment of more than 4 million yuan, the box office has reached 9.53 million yuan. Its success means that we have explored a sustainable development path suitable for local film creation in Changchun." Cai Wenwu pointed to the movie poster of "Country Youth" and said.

Cai Wenwu and his team, who were in the stage of transformation and rising, attracted the attention of Beijing and Shanghai film and television companies. They hired Cai Wenwu with a high salary in the form of headhunting and offered him an annual salary of millions. Faced with the huge temptation, Cai Wenwu hesitated, but after careful consideration, he finally decided to stay in Changchun."I remember it was the fifth day of the Lunar New Year in 2018. Integrating resources to retain talents has a bright future

In addition to talents, in order to integrate resources and unite for warmth, Cai Wenwu also joined forces with Changchun private film and television creative forces to jointly establish the Jiren Film and Television Alliance. Currently, there are 78 registered companies in the alliance, covering the entire chain of work from photography, screenwriting, lighting, recording, etc. The total number of personnel is 198.

With the support of the government and the help of talents, many works of Sense Media are planning to start filming in 2024, such as the key theater movie "Dried Tofu"; taking the industrial upgrading and iteration of Youhao Village, Yutan Town, Jingyue High-tech Zone as The rural revitalization-themed work "There is a lot of potential"; "Linhai Cucumber Township", which is based on the deep processing of ginseng products and other special industries of our province; the micro-short drama "Rice Flower", which is based on the Gongzhuling City Science and Technology Yard...
