The competition is divided into two categories based on singing methods: "people's beauty" and "popular". Public welfare training such as vocal music classes, vocal range testing, song selection guidance, and singing coaching are conducted for registered contestants, attracting nearly a hundred employees in the district. In order to ensure the authority and fairness of the competition, the organizing committee invited Sun Youfen, a vocal professor and former chief singing coach of Fushan District, and Hu Yan, a singer and one of the producers of the Wild Children Band Ziyang and Wang Nan, a young singer and chief vocal recorder in Fushan District, served as judges and scored the contestants on the spot based on their repertoire content, singing skills, stage performance, and emotional expression. After fierce competition, a total of 32 contestants advanced to the semi-finals, including 20 contestants from the popular group and 12 from the popular group.
