This year marks the 87th anniversary of the outbreak of the nation’s Anti-Japanese War. Last night, the theme symphony choral concert, a commemorative event for people from all walks of life in the capital, was broadcast on the Beijing Satellite TV channel. The mass commemoration event was sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Beijing Radio and Television Station, and the Fengtai District Committee and District Government, and was hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Fengtai District Committee, the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, and the Beijing Musicians Association. The
concert is divided into two chapters: "Building the Great Wall with Flesh and Blood" and "Strengthening into a New Era". With the theme of "Unforgettable Memories", it features a majestic symphonic soundtrack, singing of Anti-Japanese War classic songs, modern Peking Opera chorus and Anti-Japanese War poetry. Recitation and other forms of artistic expression were used to sing red classics and pay tribute to the heroes of the Anti-Japanese War.
The first chapter "Building the Great Wall of Flesh and Blood" begins with the poem recitation "White Mountains and Black Waters - Dedicated to the Northeast Anti-Japanese Soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country" and the song "On the Songhua River", leading people to recall that at the critical moment of national survival, the Communist Party of China established and established the People's Republic of China in Northeast China. He led the anti-Japanese armed forces and bravely resisted the Japanese invaders in the prosperous years. The songs "Ballad of the Great Wall" and "Ode to Yan'an", the chorus "Tunnel Warfare" and "Landmine Warfare", and the poem recitations "That Year of Marco Polo Bridge" and "Our War of Resistance", etc., reproduced the juncture of national peril and the hundreds of millions of Chinese people united as one, united and fearless. The magnificent poem of violence and bloody battle inspires people to draw faith, wisdom and strength to move forward from the history of the great anti-Japanese war.
In the next chapter "Strive for a New Era", "I am proud, I was born in China, I am proud, I am Chinese", the Peking Opera chorus "I am Chinese", the song "China in the Lights", etc., lead people to realize 87 Years of ups and downs, through the comings and goings of 87 years, condensed the strength of 87 years of struggle. A song "No Self" brought the whole concert to a climax, telling people not to forget the suffering and glory of yesterday, keep in mind today's mission and responsibility, and live up to the great dream of tomorrow. I will be selfless and live up to the people's historical responsibility and forge ahead on a new journey. , build a new era of meritorious service.
