The competition is co-sponsored by the Office of the Anhui Provincial Anti-Drug Commission, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Anhui Provincial Student Federation, and is hosted by Anhui Art Institute and Anhui Youth Newspaper.
This competition is an important part of Anhui Province’s 2024 “National Anti-Drug Awareness Month” series of themed publicity activities. It is also a series of anti-drug activities following the Anhui Province College Students’ Anti-Drug Knowledge Competition, the Province’s College Students’ Anti-Drug Debate Contest, and the Province’s College Students’ Anti-Drug Short Video Contest. The recommended work "United Wills Forge Swords and the Anti-Drug Journey" won the silver medal. The work "The Poisonous Tree Returns to the Forest" recommended by Fuyang Normal University, the work "Understanding Youth and Not Doing Drugs" recommended by Huangshan Vocational and Technical College, and Huaibei Institute of Technology recommended His work "Broken Cocoon" won the Bronze Award, and four works including "A Thought in the Abyss", "Awakening Time", "Toxic Friend" and "Between Thoughts" won the Outstanding Award. Among them, Wei Jinhong and Shen Chunlan of "The Poisonous Tree Returns to the Forest" won the Best Director Award, Li Junheng, Ye Ziyang and Fang Mei Zhiyuan of the "Youth Is Not Poisonous" team won the Best Screenplay Award, and "Ban·Ban" won the Best Screenplay Award. According to reports, the competition lasted for three months and covered 16 cities in Anhui Province. More than 100 colleges and universities formed teams to participate, and more than 5,000 college students directly participated in the scriptwriting and rehearsal of stage plays. The competition combines stage play creation with anti-drug publicity and education, further enriching the form of drug prevention education. By participating in anti-drug themed creations, young college students can understand the dangers of drugs and anti-drug knowledge, enhance their ability to recognize and prevent drugs, and effectively expand the coverage of anti-drug propaganda.
