There is always a song that reminds you of a certain person, a certain memory, and a certain moment that is deeply engraved in your youth under the bird's nest sky at that moment.
The melody of "When You Get Old" sounded, and the image of Mom Mo's youth appeared with the song "How many people once loved you when you were young and happy". It was my mother's life, and it was also the half-life confrontation between the two girls; "This World is So So" "Many People" triggered a chorus from the audience: There are so many people in this world, so many people in this Bird's Nest, how lucky we are here.
This 2024 Karen Mok the big big show concert also uses "big" as the title, writing new attempts, new challenges, and new creations for the 31st anniversary of Karen Mok's debut.
The first "big" thing about this concert is the huge venue, the huge number of audiences, and the huge amount of stage work that comes with it; at the beginning, a symphony orchestra of more than 40 people appeared on the stages, majestic The music is grand, and the high level of a musical is presented in a concert. This is Karen Mok's clear pursuit of this "big show"; the masters master band's first concert also used the master's size to make the lineup even bigger , more musical and more exciting stage.
As an artist deeply influenced by Eastern and Western cultures, Karen Mok also has deep feelings for the guzheng. During the concert, the melodious melody of the guzheng was perfectly intertwined with her voice, leading the audience into a new auditory world and experiencing the perfect fusion of guzheng and pop music. At the same time, as the creative director of the concert, Karen Mok drew on the hexagrams of the I Ching in the chapter concept of the concert, using the "three-act drama" form of drama to present the ups and downs of "the brilliance of the Dui hexagram, the transformation of the Revolution hexagram, and the warm glow of the Li hexagram". The entire choreographic universe, heaven and earth, yin and yang, heaven and earth and other concepts fully demonstrate the uniqueness of the fusion of Chinese and Western elements.
13 years ago, at the Rolling Stones' 30th anniversary concert held at the Bird's Nest, Karen Mok and Wu Bai's duet left an unforgettable stage; thirteen years later, the two reunited here to sing "Reason to Be Strong" for the first time. Interestingly, Wu Bai's hard singing made the audience ridicule: "Wu Bai came to Mo Wenwei's concert to work overtime" and "Wu Bai didn't want to sing more than one line at his own concert, but he couldn't sing the same line as others at other people's concerts."
