The awards ceremony of the third "Songs with Tune·Good Voices from Both Sides" Cross-Strait Hokkien Song Singing Competition was held on the evening of the 16th at the studio hall of Zhangzhou TV Station in Fujian Province.

Qi Jialin, chairman of the Taiwan United Alliance Party, said in a video speech that the good voices from both sides of the Taiwan Strait have allowed more compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to make friends and get close to each other through music, get closer and closer, and achieve spiritual harmony.

The two sides of the Taiwan Strait are geographically close, related by blood, and share a common culture and spirit. The awards ceremony kicked off with the opening song and dance "The Voice of Cross-Strait"; then, the original dance "Cuoli Embroidery Art", a medley of Hokkien songs, a folk-art fusion show "Riding a White Horse", the cross-strait duet "We Believe", etc. Hokkien music sings the movement of cross-strait exchanges and integration, and uses literary and artistic masterpieces to tell cross-strait stories, which is brilliant.

At the award ceremony, Chen Yuxuan, a Taiwanese opera singer, and Lin Yiying, an outstanding singer from the previous Cross-Strait Good Voices, performed the folk art fusion show "Riding a White Horse", singing the same tune as the cross-strait tune.

""Riding a White Horse" is based on the story in the traditional Chinese opera "Red Mane Horse", combining traditional culture with modern music, and incorporating elements of Xiang opera, which is Taiwanese opera. " Chen Yuxuan said in an interview with a reporter from China News Service that this song not only shows the unique charm of southern Fujian culture, but also allows more people to understand and fall in love with traditional culture.

The third "Songs with the same Tune·Good Voices from Both Sides" Cross-Strait Hokkien Song Singing Competition covered Taiwan, Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and other regions, attracting nearly a thousand Hokkien music lovers from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to participate online and offline. In the end, there were a total of 12 outstanding players reached the top of the competition.
