To promote the high-quality development of online micro-short dramas, the Guangdong Provincial Radio and Television Bureau will focus on the following aspects:
First, strengthen research and exchanges. We conducted research around key nodes in the micro-short drama industry chain, went to Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hunan and other places for on-site inspections, and visited enterprises and institutions in Guangdong Province. Organized and convened a symposium on the high-quality development of the online micro-short drama industry in Guangdong Province.
The second is to optimize the administrative approval process. Planning and filing reviews are organized three times a month, and the review time for finished films is reduced to 15 working days. Expand the expert database for reviewing micro-short dramas, and select experts in advance to provide guidance during project establishment, screenwriting, filming, and submission for review.
The third is to improve the reward and support mechanism. Relying on the Guangdong Province Literary and Art Excellence (Literary and Artistic Talents) Special Funding Project to provide financial support to outstanding micro-short plays. A micro-short drama award will be added to the Guangdong Provincial Radio, Film and Television Awards selection activities. Increase the number of micro-short plays in the Guangdong Province original online audio-visual quality project database collection activity. A special selection project with the theme of "Traveling Guangdong with Micro-Short Drama" will be set up. Promote the formulation and introduction of micro-short drama support policies in various places in Guangdong Province. Currently, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have included high-quality micro-short dramas in the scope of support.
The fourth is to build a shooting service base. Promote the construction of a micro-short drama shooting base (park) in Conghua District, Guangzhou, and provide services in copyright transactions, script creation, cast and crew, shooting and framing, post-production, publicity and promotion, and resource coordination.
The fifth is to strengthen talent training. Deepen exchanges with Huizhou University and other film and television vocational and technical colleges, and build a talent training mechanism focusing on all aspects of the micro-short drama industry chain. Implement a micro-short play screenwriter talent training plan and build a "screenwriter town".
