reported that on April 3, 2024, the giant panda "Fubao" ended his sojourn in Everland, South Korea, returned to China and moved into the Wolong Shenshuping Base of the Panda Center. The Panda Center has established a professional technical team to formulate a feeding and management plan, and helps "Fubao" adapt to life in his hometown through breeders' behavioral training, loving feeding, physical contact, and verbal communication.
During the quarantine period, "Fubao" adapted well and established trust with the breeders. After the quarantine period expired, "Fubao" moved to the Wolong Shenshuping Base Breeding Park area. Through the communication windows between the pens, he communicated with the giant pandas in his neighbors through sounds and smells, and gradually integrated into the life of the giant panda population. After observation and evaluation by the breeding team, "Fubao" has generally adapted well. He has recently moved into a new home and will officially meet the public on June 12.
It is understood that in order to ensure the safety of the "Fubao" meeting, Wolong Shenshuping Base will be closed from 12:00-17:00 on June 11 and 9:00-12:00 on June 12 , you can visit the park normally during the rest of the time.
