Southeast Network, May 6th (our reporter Chen Nanwen/picture) Tonight, “First Trial Cry·Like Thunder” Lei Qiming’s guitar concert was held at the Fujian Provincial People’s Theater. This is The sixth concert of the "Four Seasons of Fujian·Children's Singing" series of activities for young musicians. This concert is directed by the Fujian Provincial Musicians Association, the Fujian Provincial Academy of Arts, and the Fujian Provincial People's Theater, hosted by the Fujian Provincial Literature and Art Audio and Video Publishing House, and co-organized by the Guitar Society of the Fujian Provincial Music Association. It is a guitar audio-visual feast presented to the audience. At the
concert, Lei Qiming used his diverse playing styles and deep understanding of music to skillfully use guitar to create rich sound effects, bringing a novel musical experience to the audience. At the scene, Lei Qiming specially performed the track "Black Sea", which he won the gold medal in the 2023 Wagf Ossen Guitar Youth Fingerstyle Competition. His unique interpretation won warm applause from the audience and pushed the atmosphere of the concert to a climax.
According to reports, Lei Qiming embarked on a guitar journey in 2018. In 2021, he began to focus on learning fingerstyle guitar and shared his playing videos on major video websites. In addition, he also won the Youth Group Champion of the Sichuan-Chongqing Guitar Music Festival, the Open Group Champion of the Kapuma National Acoustic Guitar Competition, the Special Gold Award and the Huacai Guitar Poet Award in the Fingerstyle Group of the 6th Luhua International Art Festival, Jiaxing National Guitar Invitational Competition and the 3rd Winner of the fingerstyle open category of the 6th Zhejiang Provincial Guitar Competition and other honors.

It is worth mentioning that Lei Qiming's instructor, guitarist Chen Yanhong, played the wonderful song "just the two of us" with Lei Qiming at the concert. Robin Chen is an internationally renowned Chinese fingerstyle guitarist. Teachers and students performed together on the spot, demonstrating the warmth of artistic inheritance.
