In 2024, our Ministry will continue to hire 6 representatives from relevant sectors to serve as special observers for ecological environment. After being recommended by relevant units, the recommended list of candidates is as follows (in no particular order): Feng Qi, Chen Lujun, Dongxi, Chen Fang, Hu Ge, Chu Wenwen.

Feng Qi, male, secretary and president of the Party Group of Lanzhou Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, has been engaged in cold and drought work in the northwest region for more than 30 years Theoretical and technical research and development work on regional ecological restoration and hydrology and water resources.
Chen Lujun, male, is the executive deputy director of the Ecological Civilization Research Center of Tsinghua University. He was selected into the National Hundred Thousand Talents Project and the National Environmental Protection Professional and Technical Leading Talent. He has long been engaged in research and application in the fields of environmental pollution prevention and system management.
Dongxi, whose real name is Tian Dailin, is male and the chairman of the Guangxi Writers Association. In 2023, his work "Echo" won the 11th Mao Dun Literature Award. Actively carry out the creation of ecological and environmental-themed literary works, and make literary records of the achievements in ecological civilization construction.
Chen Fang, female, deputy director of the domestic affairs department of Xinhua News Agency, has long been working on the front line of news reporting on "emergency and dangerous situations". She has won the China News Award 8 times and has made positive contributions to ecological and environmental publicity and reporting.
Hu Ge, male, actor, loves environmental protection and has persisted in participating in various public welfare activities for many years. In 2023, as the initiator, he cooperated with Shanghai Oriental TV to film the public welfare and environmental protection documentary "Along the Road", spreading environmental protection through his influence idea.
Chu Wenwen, female, president of Altay Region Nature Conservation Association, winner of the 26th China Youth May 4th Medal, once represented Chinese nature conservation workers at the 15th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (cop15 ) opening speech.
