Central South University defeated Hunan Normal University 79-72, winning the Southwest Championship for the 9th time in team history. Fu Yongkang won the ANTA Southwest Division Award. The Southwest Division finals were contested between Central South University and Hunan Normal University. Central South University only trailed by 4 points in the first 7 minutes of the first quarter, but they then fought back and trailed by only 2 points, 15-17, at the end of the first quarter.
