As one of the most eye-catching athletes in the fourteen winter snow events, Su Yiming's every move touches the hearts of many people. Although his performance in the big platform competition was far from perfect, he was relieved to finally win the championship. After all, this is his first trip to the Winter Games, and he is fighting through injuries. It is still satisfying to end with a gold medal. In an interview, Su Yiming said that after the Beijing Winter Olympics, his responsibilities have become heavier, which also urges him to continuously improve himself. However, in his opinion, he maintains his original intention and is still the young man who loves snowboarding.
At the Beijing Winter Olympics two years ago, Su Yiming came out of nowhere and won 1 gold and 1 silver. Since then, Su Yiming has often given wonderful performances in many international and domestic competitions. Because of this, the outside world is extremely looking forward to his first trip to the Winter Games. So in his own opinion, what does this trip to the Winter Games look like? Su Yiming said: "This is my first Winter Games experience. I came here with a feeling of expectation to compete with everyone, compete with friends around me, and domestic players, and encourage each other together. Healthy competition, this is a good experience."
After the Beijing Winter Olympics, Su Yiming's identity quietly changed. He was not only an outstanding athlete, but also became the idol of young skiers. So, how has he seen some changes in himself in the past 2 years? Su Yiming has this understanding: "My original intention has never changed, and I love the project from the bottom of my heart. I am still the kid who loves snowboarding. But now my responsibilities are heavier, and many people regard me as a student. Idol, this also urges me to keep getting better. At the same time, I also have many newer and higher goals, hoping to be the best version of myself."
In this competition, Su Yiming played with injuries. He admitted frankly that the ankle injury affected his performance. It still has some impact. "The ankle problem is one of the reasons why I am nervous in the game and affects my performance. Because I have been injured before, I am not sure whether I can be in the healthiest state to prepare for this Winter Games. Fortunately, I can recover in time. Although It's not 100% yet, but I can now complete the actions I want."
When talking about future goals, Su Yiming is also very clear, that is, to do his best to achieve good results at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. And if we refer to his performance in the Beijing Winter Olympics, then in Milan two years later, Su Yiming will naturally want to attack with double gold.
