The 2024 Spring Festival is approaching, and the China Central Radio and Television Station Spring Festival Gala and many film works will be broadcast and screened together. In order to increase the copyright protection of key works, in accordance with the National Copyright Administration's "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Supervision of Copyright of Works Disseminated on the Internet" and the special work arrangements for the copyright protection of theater movies by the National Copyright Administration and other four departments, based on the authorization of works reported by relevant rights holders According to the situation, the National Copyright Administration today (7th) announced the first batch of copyright protection warning lists for key works in 2024.
Relevant network service providers should take the following protection measures for key works on the copyright protection warning list: network service providers that directly provide content must not provide works on the copyright protection warning list without permission; network service providers that provide storage space should prohibit users from uploading Works on the copyright protection warning list; relevant network service providers should expedite the processing of notices from rights holders of works on the copyright protection warning list about deleting infringing content or disconnecting infringing links.
Copyright administrative law enforcement and supervision departments in various regions should issue copyright early warning reminders to major network service providers in the region and increase copyright monitoring and supervision. Anyone who illegally disseminates key copyright protection early warning works through information networks without authorization shall be investigated and punished strictly and expeditiously in accordance with the law.
It is also understood that the relevant departments of the National Copyright Administration, the National Film Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have recently jointly deployed to carry out special work on the copyright protection of theater movies, and will focus on key theater movies, especially the copyrights of key works included in the National Copyright Administration To protect the Spring Festival theatrical movies on the warning list, we will strengthen daily law enforcement inspections and network inspections by issuing copyright warning reminders to major network service providers and movie theater chains, and increase the number of inspections of theaters, on-demand theaters (movie bars), and related network service providers. Copyright supervision and monitoring, strengthening the investigation and handling of cases of pirated recordings and dissemination of theatrical movies, and other measures to further maintain a good copyright order in the film market.
