In March 2023, Pingding Sha Pottery Professional Town was recognized as one of the first six municipal-level professional towns in Yangquan City. This has added vitality and momentum to the booming development of Pingding Sand Pottery Professional Town and Pingding County’s reputation as the “City of Chinese Sand Pottery”.
During holidays, the sand ware (purple sand) cultural demonstration area in Pingding County is particularly lively. Covering an area of more than 9,000 square meters, there are more than 20 stores in the antique streets and alleys, filled with a strong artistic atmosphere. The porcelain with beautiful shapes and smooth lines, and the simple and rough sand ware with different shapes attract many consumers.
In Jinmingtang, Pingding, the company organically integrates "technology + intangible cultural heritage" to further integrate high-end purple sand products into daily life and achieve industrialization.
In order to build a good professional town for sand pottery, Pingding County has built three major platforms: the "City of Sand Ware in China" e-commerce logistics platform, purple sand warehousing center, and functional purple sand R&D center, sand pottery culture demonstration park, Songjiazhuang Ceramics Industry Industrial Park, The "three major parks" of the sandware production incubation park will be used as the starting point to promote the cluster and large-scale development of the sandware industry.
