The selection process for the 2022-2023 China Radio and Television Awards and the 34th China TV Drama "Feitian Award" sponsored by the State Administration of Radio and Television and hosted by the China Television Arts Committee is about to begin. All units are requested to carefully organize and participate in light of the actual situation. The relevant matters are now notified as follows:

From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023, TV series broadcast on CCTV or local satellite channels, as well as on national TV series and web series premiered on key video websites.
3. Commendation quotas
There are 20 commendation quotas in total, including 16 Outstanding TV Series Awards, one each for Outstanding Director Award, Outstanding Screenplay Award, Outstanding Actor Award, and Outstanding Actress Award.
4. Selection requirements
(1) Adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts, adhere to the correct political direction, public opinion orientation, value orientation, and adhere to the people-centered creative orientation, Sing the main theme, advocate diversity, spread positive energy, and promote the core socialist values.

(4) Persons who break the law and are immoral and the plays they have participated in the creation of are strictly prohibited from participating in the evaluation.
5. Submission procedures and requirements for applicant units
(1) Online registration and submission
1. Log in to the "State Administration of Radio and Television Feitian Award Review and Award Platform" (http://ft.pingshen.nrta.gov.cn) to register the organization. This platform is the only official registration channel for the "Feitian Award".
2. Complete the "34th Chinese TV Drama "Feitian Awards" Recommendation Form for Plays" (hereinafter referred to as "Recommendation Form for Plays") online, and upload attachment materials, including director's explanation, ideological connotation, story outline, episode summary, and character biographies. , broadcast status and social response, complete opening and closing subtitles, posters and stills, etc.
3. Only one unit can apply for the same play. In principle, the applicant shall be the applicant for the issuance license of the participating plays.
(2) Export and stamp
The applicant unit exports the official "Recommendation Form for Plays to Be Appraised" with a QR code from the "Feitian Award" review and award platform. It is printed on both sides of A4 paper and signed and stamped by the person in charge of the applicant unit. Official seal.
(3) Preliminary review and recommendation of qualifications
1. Radio and Television Bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Culture, Sports, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Propaganda Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, Central Radio and Television General Administration As the preliminary review unit, relevant units in Taiwan and China must strictly follow the principle of selecting the best from the best and do a good job in preliminary review and recommendation.
2. The applicant shall submit the application materials to the preliminary review unit for review. The "Recommendation Form for Repertoires for Evaluation" has been initially reviewed by the provincial bureau, signed by the person in charge of the provincial bureau, and stamped with the official seal of the bureau; it has been initially reviewed by the Propaganda Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, signed by the head of the Propaganda Bureau, and stamped with the official seal of the bureau; it has been approved by the Central Radio and Television General Administration After the initial review by Taiwan, the person in charge of the Taiwanese government will sign and the official seal of the Taiwanese government will be affixed; after the preliminary review by the relevant unit of the Central Government, the person in charge of the unit will sign and the official seal of the unit will be affixed.
(4) Upload the recommendation form stamped by the preliminary review unit
The applicant unit logs in to the "Feitian Award" review and award platform again, uploads the "Recommendation Form for Participated Plays" signed and stamped by the preliminary review unit in "My Application", and submits the application. If the submission is successful, the online registration is completed and the filled-in content cannot be modified.
(5) Mailing materials
The applicant unit shall compile complete and standardized paper and electronic version of the application materials in accordance with Article 6 of this notice "Requirements for Participation Materials" and submit them to the Feitian Award Jury Office by mail.
6. Requirements for participation materials
(1) Paper version of materials
1. A complete and stamped original copy of the official form (with QR code) of the "Recommendation Form for Participation in Plays".
2. Director’s explanation, ideological connotation, story outline, episode synopsis, character biographies, broadcast situation and social response of the participating plays, complete opening and closing subtitles (the subtitles must be consistent with the content of the submitted complete broadcast video), etc. One copy of each written material, printed on A4 paper, stamped with the official seal and seal of the reporting unit.
(2) Electronic version materials
1. A scanned copy of the complete and stamped original of the official form (with QR code) of the "Recommendation Form for Repertoires" in pdf format.
2. 1 scanned electronic copy of the original and stamped documents including the director's explanation, ideological connotation, story outline, episode synopsis, character biographies, broadcast status and social response, complete opening and closing subtitles list of the participating plays, in pdf format.
3. Complete broadcast video: using mp4 format, encoding method is h264, resolution does not exceed 1920*1080, and the size of the video file in principle does not exceed 1g for a single episode. Please name the file as: ""Drama Title"—Episode xx".
4. Trailer: In principle, it should not exceed 5 minutes, use mp4 format, the encoding method is h264, and the resolution should not exceed 1920*1080. Please name the file as: ""Drama Title"-Trailer-Applying Unit".
5. Posters and stills: limited to 2 posters (1 horizontal and 1 vertical); in principle, no more than 10 stills. Posters and stills must be in jpg or png format, and the size of a single image should be larger than 1m.
6. Storage medium:
(1) mobile hard disk or USB flash drive (must be labeled with the name of the participating play).
(2) Each participating play must create a separate electronic folder. The folder must contain all electronic materials. Please name the folder: ""Title of Play"-Applying Unit".
(3) Entry materials above will not be returned, please make a backup copy before mailing.
7. Publicity Statement
In order to publicize and promote the results of the "Feitian Award" selection, the China Television Arts Committee has the media broadcast rights for the participating dramas, and can be made into electronic audio-visual products and books for non-commercial promotion, observation and discussion Exchange activities. The stamp of the applicant unit for participating in the repertoire is deemed to be recognition of this clause.
8. The "Feitian Award" selection does not charge fees from the reporting units and individuals in any way
