"Blue Vest·Xihu Sister" is a volunteer service team jointly established by the Propaganda Department (Civilization Office) of the Xihu District Committee and the Zhejiang Ant Charity Foundation in August 2023. It has gradually grown from the initial 16 core members, and the team members have been engaged in many industries such as technology research and development, financial management, intangible cultural inheritance, culture and art, etc. Some can speak fluent English, some are good at photography and tea art, and some are sports experts. Everyone has unique skills. During the Hangzhou Asian Games, the ladies provided information consultation, convenience and assistance to the disabled and other services to tourists and citizens at the competition venues, Asian Games Villages, communities and other places.
In order to help the ladies continue to shine in the "post-Asian Games" era and build a charity platform for helping the elderly with the characteristics of Xihu District, the members of the "West Lake Sisters" service team will continue to expand this year. The recruitment period for
volunteers is from January 16th to February 10th. Those who live in Xihu District all year round or can participate in activities in Xihu District, are good at multiple languages, photography and tea art, cultural communication, smartphone operation, etc. Those with lecturer experience and ability will be given priority. .
