Recently, a woman in Chongqing claimed that her pre-month-old son was slapped by his confinement nanny, which attracted attention on the Internet.
On the evening of December 28, Jiangbei Public Security Bureau issued a police information report on the matter online, stating that confinement sister-in-law Gu Mou had been given administrative detention punishment.

On November 25, 2023, Xu, a resident of Shimahe, Jiangbei District, hired Gu (female, 22 years old) from an administration company to care for her newborn baby. In the early morning of December 18, the baby kept crying. Xu looked back at the video surveillance at home and found that Gu was suspected of abusing the baby, so he called the police to the public security organ.
After being sent to the hospital for examination, the baby's physical symptoms were normal. By checking surveillance, checking medical treatment, questioning relevant personnel, and seeking opinions from pediatric experts, the police found out that the confinement nanny Gu was irritable because of the baby's crying, and took aggressive actions such as pushing the baby's head, pulling and shaking.
Currently, Gu has been given administrative detention punishment by the police in accordance with the law.
According to previous reports by The Paper, Ms. Ruan, who lives in Jiangbei District, Chongqing, reported that in the early morning of December 18, her under-month-old son Lele (pseudonym) was abused by his confinement nanny, including slapping, shaking his head violently, and using Strong light to eyes, etc. On the day of the incident, Lele was just 26 days old.
Ms. Ruan said that Lele was born on November 22 this year. After she was discharged from the hospital on November 25, Gu went to her home and started working.
In the early morning of December 18, Lele cried very hard and lasted for a long time. She felt something was abnormal and took Lele away from Gu somewhere. When
checked the surveillance, she found that Gu had abused the baby many times, including slapping, shaking the head violently, choking, and shining a strong light on the baby's eyes with a mobile phone and other violent behaviors.
After the incident, she called 110 and reported the situation to the local Women's Federation and the Health Commission.
Ms. Ruan said that Gu's nurse resume stated that she had obtained the "Nurse Qualification Certificate" and "Nurse Practice Certificate", but the staff of the Liangjiang New District Health Commission told her that Gu actually did not have the nurse's qualification.
Late at night on December 27, the official Weibo "Liangjiang New District Release" of the Propaganda Department of the Party Working Committee of Chongqing Liangjiang New District announced that the confinement nanny involved was sent to Jiangbei by Chongqing Baobokang Housekeeping Service Co., Ltd., which is registered in Tiankangdian Street, Liangjiang New District.
