The song adopts a lyrical style, using the pentatonic mode of Chuxiong, Yunnan, and the melody is simple. The song not only has the charm of national style, but also has a distinctive flavor of the times. was created after Wang Min went to the Chuxiong Prefecture Committee Office of the Communist Party of China to give a music party class. Local cadres hoped that Wang Min would also leave original songs for Chuxiong while teaching. The song is positioned in "Shuangbai County, Chuxiong", the home of the green peacock, and expresses the green ecological beauty and warm hospitality of Shuangbai as the home of the green peacock. , Wang Min visited the lyricist Pu Zhougeng to learn more about Shuangbai music and culture and seek inspiration for creation. The creation of the song not only received strong support from the relevant leaders of the Chuxiong Prefecture Cultural Center, but also received support, recognition and help from the Shanghai Aid to Yunnan Cadre Liaison Group, the Aid to Chuxiong Group, and many relevant departments in Shanghai and Yunnan.
In the summer of 2022, Wang Min became one of the teachers from Jiading District who went to Yunnan to teach in the first semester of the 2022 school year, and he was full of expectations. From being the composer who previously composed the song "Light of Hope" to support education, to now becoming the person in the song whose dream has come true, he has used practical actions to write his own youth for western education.
Someone said of Wang Min, "Wherever he goes, the singing will be there." At the beginning of teaching, the chorus education in Shuangbai County No. 1 Middle School was almost blank. Therefore, the first thing Wang Min did when he came to Yunnan was to form the first student choir of Shuangbai No. 1 Middle School. Many of Shuangbai's children are from the Yi ethnic group and are children from mountainous areas. With the development of the times, their talents of singing and dancing flowing in their blood have gradually become memories. In addition to daily teaching, Wang Min also focuses on training local music teachers to achieve the transformation from "blood transfusion" to "blood production". Wang Min taught everything from the size and organization of the student choir, the selection of chorus members, to experiential and imitation teaching methods.
