This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Africa. China-South Africa relations have entered a "golden era" and become one of the most dynamic bilateral relations among developing countries. The documentary series "25 Years of Positive Youth - Documentary of China-South Africa Friendly Cooperation", co-produced by China Central Radio and Television and the South African Broadcasting Corporation, starts from President Xi Jinping's fourth state visit to South Africa, and presents a panoramic view of the diplomatic, economic and social exchanges between China and South Africa. The results of cooperation and people-to-people exchanges vividly record the stories of mutual benefit, win-win results, people-to-people connections, and mutual learning between civilizations between China and South Africa.
"25 Years of Youth - Documentary of China-South Africa Friendly Cooperation" has 3 episodes, each episode is 30 minutes. Episode 1 "Golden Era" vividly tells the development process of China-South Africa relations over the past 25 years under the leadership of the heads of state's diplomacy, showing the "Golden Era" as the era coordinate of China-South Africa relations. The second episode, "Thousands of Miles Away", tells the story of China and South Africa's sincere treatment of each other, heart-to-heart friendship, and the deep friendship of "comrades and brothers" from different perspectives such as bilateral investment, trade, technical training, and youth exchanges. The third episode "Together for the Future" details the development achievements and bright prospects of China-South Africa cooperation, and shows the bright future of the two countries working together to build a high-level China-South Africa community with a shared future.
The 3-episode documentary "25 Years of Positive Youth - A Record of China-South Africa Friendly Cooperation" will premiere on the Chinese International Channel, cgtn English Channel, and cgtn Documentary Channel from December 28 to December 30. From December 29th to 31st, it will be broadcast on cgtn French channel and Arabic channel.
