"Geralt of Rivia" voice actor Doug Cockle is eager to return to "The Witcher" projects, such as "The Witcher: Remastered" or "The Witcher 4", among others. In an interview with IGN, Cockle made his love for The Witcher clear, saying he wants to voice Geralt forever, even if The Witcher 4 leaves the character behind. "I would love to continue voicing Geralt until I can no longer speak," he said.
"It has become a part of me. Every time CD Projekt calls me and says, 'Hey, are you available? ? "I was all excited. My heart was pounding and I said, 'Yeah, of course I do,' because I loved it so much."
Cockle made it clear that he didn't know much about CDPR and The Witcher: Remastered That's the case for Game of Thrones developer Fool's Theory, but he had only positive experiences working on The Witcher, so he'd love to come back.
"I have a lot of respect for CDPR. I don't work for them, I work with them. So I'm kind of on the outside of the company, like a satellite orbiting the inside of the company, and I don't know anything about it Yeah, every once in a while, they'll call me in and do something, and then I'll get back into my groove. But they're loving."
"I'm super excited about The Witcher 1 remake, Because if you think about it, when The Witcher 1 was being made, I was recording the voices in 2005," Cockle said. "I think this game was born in 2007. That was a long time ago. That was almost 20 years ago.
technology has changed a lot. I know they will be in Unreal Engine 5 Remastering it, so that's exciting because the graphics that they can do now in Unreal 5 are just so different from what they were able to do when they first made The Witcher 1. It's really It's exciting." (Source: IGN)
