On the evening of December 31st, the Film Art Night of the 9th Silk Road International Film Festival kicked off in Yisushe Cultural District, the first Qin Opera-themed district in the country.
As a major event of this year's Silk Road International Film Festival, the "Film Art Night" jointly held a wonderful "Yuan Shang" fashion show with Ma Defan, an artist, costume designer and cross-border artist from China Film Group. The fusion of the intangible cultural heritage charm of Qin Opera and the ultimate visual aesthetics of the film presents an artistic feast integrating aesthetics, fashion, inheritance and classics.
Ma Defan has successively acted as costume designer in many famous film and television works such as "Zhou Yu's Train" and "The Love of Hawthorn Tree". International Chinese Film Festival Costume Design Golden Dragon Award.
This "Film Art Night" and "Yuan Shang" fashion show is divided into three chapters: "Yuan Shang", "Yuan Shang" and "Wishing to Shang". In the first chapter of
, the word "source" means the place where water begins to flow out, implying the root of civilization. Ma Defan has collected a variety of cotton and linen textile fabrics with original craftsmanship in various places, endowing the "Yuan Shang" series of clothing with the energy of "coming from ancient times" and returning to the authenticity of clothing.
The "Yuan" in the second chapter "Yuan Shang" means the land of cultivation, implying the foundation of civilization. Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road, and the plateau also implies the starting point of Eastern civilization. The "Yuan Shang" series of clothing integrates the traditional cultural colors of Shaanxi, pays attention to the foundation of the land, and absorbs the accumulation of different civilizations over time and the echo of historical time and space. The "wish" in the third chapter of
"Wish Up" means the original sound of the heart and the hope for the future. The "Wishing" series of clothing is implanted with natural elements, with the concept of "walking landscape", which symbolizes the endless life that has its growth meaning in any form. At the same time, the "light of the future" is lit, implying that traditional civilization will continue and will be carried forward.
As the venue for the "Film Art Night", the Yisushe Cultural District combines the beauty of light and shadow of movies with the cultural beauty of Qin Opera, and makes the beauty of ancient intangible cultural heritage and modern industrial aesthetics mutually multiply and magnify. The background is more open and cultural.
Qin's voice is long, the light and shadow are long, and the clothes are fluttering. The film art night combines the beauty of the ancient and modern Silk Road on the ancient stage of Qin Opera, allowing the drama of "ancient tunes alone" to dialogue with the power of film aesthetics, and show the world the "great beauty" that can not only continue tradition but also embrace modernity Chinese culture.
