This show is set in the same "eternal universe" as AMC's " Interview with the Vampire ", both of which are An adaptation of the novel by Anne Rice . Daddario plays Ron, an intuitive young neurosurgeon who finds herself the unexpected heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound power, she must also contend with an evil presence that has plagued her family for generations.
Rice said before his death: "I have always dreamed of seeing my two worlds merged so that producers could explore the vast and interconnected universe of vampires and witches. That dream has now become a reality, which is One of the most important and exciting collaborations of my long career."
