From August 5th to 15th, the Youth Art Troupe affiliated to Changsha Symphony Orchestra under the "Xiangyue Europe and Music Tour" went to Austria, Germany, and Italy for a European tour, and gained a lot along the way.
's first stop in Europe's tour, the young performers arrived in the "music capital" Vienna, Austria. At the Vienna State University of Music and Performing Arts, senior professors gave training classes to the children and guided rehearsals. At the Döbling Concert Hall of the Vienna City Hall, the children presented their own performance to the Viennese audience, with National Center for the Performing Arts conductor Friedrich conducting the baton.
Then, the art troupe arrived in Salzburg, Mozart’s hometown, and visited the Mozarteum University of Music, a world-class music institution. Here, the children visited the school’s concert hall and classrooms, took master classes, listened to many small concerts, and personally experienced the learning and living atmosphere of the Mozarte University of Music.
In Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, children sang the famous Hunan song "Liuyang River" and delivered Hunan music to the German people in the form of a flash mob.
At the Milan Teatro Basiló in Milan, Italy, the hometown of opera, the art troupe’s concert was conducted by Gianfranco Messina, chairman of the Turin Opera and Symphony Orchestra Association in Italy. Under the guidance of these conductors, the children's performance skills improved day by day.
They also visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, the former residences of Mozart and Karajan, the BMW Museum, Juliet's former residence in the ancient city of Verona and other places to gain a deep understanding of the historical and cultural background of European classical music.
