"The Love of Longxi" is a new cultural project in the Sanxia Renjia Scenic Area. It is organized by the Yichang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, with participation from the Three Gorges Media Group and the Three Gorges Performing Arts Group. The performance is based on the feelings of the children of the Xiajiang River, using music, dance, scene performances, poetry and other art forms to imbue it with romantic, aesthetic, shocking and other essences, organically integrating the unique geographical features and humanistic characteristics of the Three Gorges people.
The performance is divided into three chapters: "The hospitality of the people of Xiajiang", "The beautiful and ethereal love returned to Longxi" and "The joy of singing in the prosperous times" . Visitors can place themselves in the center of the stage and watch the performance in the panoramic "march" mode, immersing themselves in the charm of the Xiajiang River, sharing the warm singing and dancing, and appreciating the unique feelings of the wonderful Longxi.
According to Zhang Jihua, the brand manager of Yichang Sanxia Renjia Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., the participating actors are composed of professional actors from universities, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, actors from the Three Gorges Renjia Art Troupe, and nearly 100 enthusiastic people. After months of careful planning, the program is now available on and twice in the afternoon and twice every day on , and is wonderfully staged at the mouth of Longjin Xikou in the Three Gorges Scenic Area.
