html On August 13, in a small shop on Guoshi Street, Linqing City, 47-year-old Li Dongli was making a children's toy balancing eagle out of bamboo. Li Dongli has been learning bamboo craftsmanship from his father since he was in his twenties, and has now become a Liaocheng-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor.

Linqing's bamboo craftsmanship began in the Ming and Qing Dynasties when water transport flourished. At that time, southern merchants transported moso bamboo, arrow bamboo and bamboo products through the canal, and the Guangji Bridge Wharf in Linqing was one of the distribution points. Over time, bamboo traders and bamboo weaving craftsmen settled here to make a living. The streets and alleys near the dock where traders and craftsmen gathered are now the famous Bamboo Cane Alley in Linqing.

In Zhugan Alley and the adjacent Guoshi Street, there are still several century-old bamboo crafts making shops, where "artists" pass on century-old skills.

The bamboo wares compiled by Li Dongli are of various categories, covering hundreds of products such as bamboo baskets, bamboo baskets, bamboo baskets, bamboo curtains, bamboo rakes, and toys.
