China, this ancient and magical land, has given birth to countless amazing natural landscapes. From the snowy glaciers in the north to the tropical rainforests in the south, from the vast sea in the east to the majestic snow-capped mountains in the west, each landscape has a different charm. Among these many natural wonders, Tenglong Cave in Enshi, Hubei Province is ranked among the "Six Major Caves" with its unique charm.
Tenglong Cave, a name contains the magnificent image of a dragon soaring through the nine heavens and the universe hidden in the cave. It is not only the largest cave among the "Six Major Caves in China", but also one of the best cave wonders in the world. The cave passage with a total length of about 60 kilometers is like a winding underground dragon, passing through the mountains and ridges, and it is majestic. Its entrance is soaring into the clouds, with a height of 74 meters and a width of 64 meters. Not only can twenty large trucks drive in side by side, but also hot air balloons and helicopters can enter it.
Stepping into Tenglong Cave, it feels like traveling through a tunnel of time and space and arriving at a bizarre and unpredictable underground kingdom. The highest point in the cave reaches 235 meters, which is equivalent to an 80-story high-rise building. Not only that, there are five peaks, ten halls, and more than ten underground waterfalls in the cave. These are the natural creations of hundreds of millions of years. The carefully crafted works of art are breathtaking.
Tenglong Cave is not just a simple cave, it is a huge underground world, including sinkholes, corrosion depressions, ground cracks, cliffs, ground cracks, peak clusters, caves, stone pillar forests, underground rivers, stone buds, etc., and many more The large-scale and rich types of karst landforms are known as the "Natural Museum of Karst Landforms".
Tenglong Cave is divided into five upper and lower floors, with large and small branch holes and branch holes intertwined into a network, with a total of more than 300, forming an intricate maze. There are caves in the mountains, mountains in the caves, rivers in the caves, waterfalls in the caves, bridges in the caves, and water caves connected. It is said that this huge cave system can accommodate 700 million people living in it. It is incredible.
This is my third time visiting Tenglong Cave. Every time I visit, I have a different feeling. What impressed me most about the previous visit was the aurora show and "Yishui Lichuan" inside. This time we not only saw the upgraded version of The aurora show "Tianxia Tenglong" and the upgraded version of "Yishui Lichuan" were also taken on a hot air balloon, overlooking Tenglong Cave from the air, and visited "Exploring the Center of the Earth". It is said that there are also "Tenglong Flying to the Sky" and "Yaowu Mountain- Landscapes such as "The Creation of Heaven and Earth" and "There is a Cave in the Sky".
Among the many performances, "Yishui Lichuan" impressed me the most. The performance venue is the largest cave theater in the world. It is based on the history and culture of the Tujia people and vividly conveys it through dance, singing, performance and other forms. It reproduces the ancient legends, customs and daily life of the Tujia people, making the audience feel as if they have traveled through time and space and personally feel the charm of Tujia culture.
It is particularly worth mentioning that there is a breathtaking cave waterfall at the exit of Tenglong Cave. Qingjiang River, the mother river of Lichuan, plunges more than 40 meters here, forming a spectacular waterfall. The waterfall is as silky as strands, as white as jade, as loud as thunder, and majestic. Just like the Enshi version of Hukou Falls, it is very spectacular.
Tenglong Cave is very big. It is not only large in scale, but also has many attractions to visit. Although it is a karst cave, it has jumped out of the limitations of the karst cave. The whole thing is a large paradise in the cave, where you can explore, take pictures, and watch. During the performance, you can ride in a hot air balloon, see waterfalls, learn about geological wonders, and most importantly, you can enjoy the cool air. In such a hot summer, the temperature inside is only more than ten degrees. Since you are hiking in Litong, you won’t feel hot, but It is said to be a natural summer resort.
