The 2024 Ningxia Square Dance Promotion Training Course, guided by the Ningxia Culture and Tourism Department and hosted by the Ningxia Cultural Center, concluded successfully.
Characteristic square dance
This training course lasted for 5 days. More than 60 business cadres from 27 city, county (district) cultural centers in the region jointly learned 4 characteristic square dances carefully created and arranged by the Ningxia Cultural Center. There is the trendy square dance "I Lead the Oasis to Connect the Long Road" to promote Ningxia's cultural tourism, and there is the local characteristic square dance "Yellow Sheep Money Whip" innovatively adapted based on the national intangible cultural heritage project "Yellow Sheep Money Whip", as well as the Chinese The children's physical fitness and health square dance "Healthy to the Order" based on the traditional cultural Baduanjin and the wellness square dance "Up the Spring Mountain" created by exploring the rhythmic characteristics of Chinese classical dance.
In recent years, Ningxia Cultural Center has actively explored the in-depth integration of culture and tourism, explored local characteristics, and aimed to showcase Ningxia’s unique cultural charm and continuously enhance the people’s sense of identity and pride in the Chinese nation. It focuses on innovation. Integrate China's excellent traditional culture into the entire process of literary and artistic creation and performance, and guide the masses to continuously strengthen the "five identities" through square dance and other popular forms, and further build a stronger sense of community for the Chinese nation.
During the graduation report performance, the students took turns to take the stage to show their learning results. The wonderful performance not only reflected the students' full enthusiasm for learning, but also fully demonstrated the remarkable results of this square dance promotion and training activity. After the training, the trainees will return to their respective jobs to further popularize square dance and truly reach the last mile of the public.
The person in charge of the Ningxia Cultural Center said that we will continue to spread the excellent traditional Chinese culture through dance vocabulary, inspire more people to participate in mass cultural activities, and jointly write a new chapter in the integrated development of Ningxia's culture and tourism.
