The aunt in the front row sat upright, "I like singing very much. I heard from my neighbors that the street activity was very interesting, so I followed. No music knowledge is required. I followed four or five performances without any effort." After two songs, the atmosphere gradually became warmer. The keynote speaker, Mr. Liu Jian, was full of witty words and used interesting language and popular cases to connect professional music knowledge together. The children in the back row also imitated the teacher's gestures, and beat the rhythm of the music gracefully, singing "Jasmine", "Ocean, My Hometown", and "My Motherland" one after another... They are familiar with it. The classic songs are accompanied by immature children's voices, creating a more youthful and joyful atmosphere.
Audience members also volunteered to perform impromptu performances. Solo songs, instrumental performances, singing and dancing... At the Saturday concert, elderly people from surrounding communities, children who were learning piano, and urban white-collar workers who came here... everyone sat together and came just for the music.
Liu Jian, the concert speaker, graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music with a major in conducting, and later went to the United States to study. He was the conductor of the Shanghai Orchestra and was awarded the title of "Good Man of China". Liu Jian has been enthusiastic about public welfare activities for many years, holding "Music Therapy Special" charity concerts, integrating sign language movements into song singing, guiding the audience to capture the "pulse" of music in a different way, and using music to bring joy and health to everyone. Starting from May this year, Xinhua Road Street invited Liu Jian to be the speaker of Saturday concerts, bringing interesting "music dinners" to community residents every Saturday. Tenor Liu Jie, soprano Wang Jia, drama , musical director Zhou Xiaowei, dancer Zhang Shuo and other well-known professionals at home and abroad served as guests, committed to presenting more diverse, rich and creative performances, so that surrounding residents and white-collar workers can feel the charm of music in interesting activities. It was almost 10 pm when we walked out of the Civic Center.
