It is understood that since its premiere in 2009, "Tian Chan Di Nuo" has been performed for more than 200 performances. It has won the China Wenhua Award for Outstanding Drama, the National Ethnic Minority Literature and Art Festival Gold Medal for Drama, and the Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Silver Medal for Dance Drama. It is a masterpiece of creative and dynamic protection of the world's intangible cultural heritage, and a masterpiece of Guizhou's national culture and art. The essence of the "Grand View Garden" display is a classic work with distinctive regional and national characteristics.
After 15 years, this tour has completely upgraded the dance drama, making the stage presentation more digital and multimedia, introducing high-tech stage equipment and technology to enrich the tension of the repertoire; at the same time, the dance drama also pays close attention to Dong songs, Nuo culture, and local culture. The play is newly deconstructed, integrating and strengthening elements such as street dance and modern dance to ensure the authenticity of Guizhou folk dance and make it more in line with the current audience's aesthetics, presenting rich and colorful local customs and traditional cultural charm.
Before the end of July, the play will also tour in Zhuhai and Macau, and will be performed at the Liangdu Grand Theater in Liupanshui, Guizhou on August 2.
