Reporters learned from the Shanghai One-legged Opera Art Inheritance Center (Shanghai People's Comedy Troupe) that Fu Ziming, a member of the Shanghai Quyi Artists Association, a national first-class actor, the founder of "Shanghai Language Song" and a famous burlesque actor, passed away on July 8, 2024. At 2:26 a.m., he died of illness at the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital at the age of 64.

Fu Ziming was the first Shanghainese singer to become a household name in Shanghai in the 1980s. His famous song "It's Hard to Be a Human" became popular in Jiangnan and won the MTV Gold Award at the First China Music and Television Conference. He was also the composer of the theme song of the famous sitcom "Black Tea House" singer.

In 1979, the Shanghai People's Comedy Troupe openly recruited young talents who loved burlesque performances from the society. Among more than 1,700 enthusiasts, only 7 outstanding ones were admitted. Fu Ziming and 6 other outstanding candidates were recruited into Shanghai.
