On the morning of June 29, 2024, the poetry recitation review meeting "Ode to the Party and Praise for Hometown" hosted by the Zaozhuang Literary and Art Critics Association to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held in Longyang Town, Tengzhou.
Du Yongguang, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of Zaozhuang Municipal People's Congress, president of Zaozhuang Veterans Association, art consultant of Zaozhuang Literary and Art Critics Association, Wang Shengli, former deputy director of Zaozhuang Education Bureau, Min Xiangzhai, president of Zaozhuang Science and Technology Vocational College, Zaozhuang Zhang Aimin, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Min Fanli, Chairman of the Zaozhuang Literary and Art Critics Association and other leaders attended the meeting. More than 50 writers, poets, critics and 30 primary school students from Zaozhuang municipal government departments and five districts and one city participated in the event.
Zhang Junze, Chairman of the Longyang Town People’s Congress, first delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the town party committee and government, and briefly introduced the development of Longyang Town’s economic, social and cultural undertakings. Chairman Min Fanli awarded the Zaozhuang Literary and Art Critics Association "Longshan Academy Creative Research Base" plaque to Gan Yinuo, dean of Tengzhou Longshan Academy.
Director Du Yongguang said in his speech that first of all, the time node chosen for this poetry recitation evaluation meeting is very good, which coincides with the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Party. The activity of "Praising the Party and Praising Hometown" is very meaningful; secondly, these poetry recitations have a high position and are highly ideological. All 16 poems and prose are original works. It praises the party, motherland and hometown, which is a precious spiritual wealth; thirdly, poetry is a beautiful and elegant art form, which has a great influence on people's ideals, thoughts and feelings. The holding of this event will play a very good role in promoting the development of literary creation and criticism in Zaozhuang City, and in discovering and cultivating more literary talents.
This poetry recitation appraisal meeting is a continuation of the "Go Among the People" event organized by Zaozhuang Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Zaozhuang Literary and Art Critics Association on April 14 this year in Longyang Town. It is a continuation of the poetry and prose creation activities of collecting styles. A concentrated display of the results is also a concrete manifestation of the results of the review and recitation of this style gathering activity.
