Why did the Meiyu season start so strongly this year? Meteorological experts said that according to the causes of rainfall, rainfall in my country is mainly divided into four types: frontal rain, convective rain, orographic rain, and typhoon rain. The recent plum rains, which started with a "violent" start, are typical frontal rains. All types of rainfall require three conditions: sufficient water vapor, suitable dynamic lift conditions, and the presence of a large number of condensation nuclei in the air.

Such violent heavy rainfall will continue until at least the end of the month. According to the mid-term forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, in the next ten days, there will be four rounds of heavy rainfall in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River with almost "seamless connection". The precipitation in the Jianghuai, northern Jiangnan and other places will be significantly higher than the same period in normal years.
