The National Theater of China’s original drama "Three Bays, That Night" was written by Wang Baoshe and directed by Yin Hongyi. The play artistically expresses the "Adaptation of Three Bays", a milestone event in the history of the founding of the Party and the Army, and vividly demonstrates Mao Zedong's Comrade's political vision and difficult journey of forging the soul of the people's army in the turbulent times.

The play focuses on explaining the essence of the thoughts such as "the party commands the gun", "the branch is built on the company" and "officers and soldiers are equal", which are the ideological magic weapons for our party and the people's army to win.

The whole drama revolves around a meeting with exciting ideas. So how can we make the story of a meeting "engaging"? Yin Hongyi, the director of "Three Bays, That Night" said: "What we show is that Mao Zedong completed the counterattack of 'adaptation', which caused a great reversal of the situation. How can this drama express this sincerely? The key point is to highlight 'Psychological drama'. To make the main theme of the drama interesting and make young people willing to watch such a drama, these are our demands."

"The drama is based on the theme of "Sanwan Adaptation" in the long history of China's revolution. It not only writes the profound meaning of history, but also digs out the new ideas of reality. The ideological differences between Mao Zedong, Yu Sadu and others in terms of military management are actually about what flag to raise, what path to take, and what kind of army to build. Mao Zedong advocated the equality of officers and soldiers, established soldier committees in the army, emphasized the party's leadership role in the army, and established branches in companies. This was a major 'reform' in the management of the Chinese army. Du and others strongly opposed it, believing that this violated the "rules" of the army. At the beginning of the meeting, there were many people supporting Yu Sadu, but Mao Zedong was in the minority. However, as the plot developed, Mao Zedong actually explained his own views in relation to the development of the Chinese revolution. The views and truths became clearer and clearer, and the situation reversed, with more and more people supporting Mao Zedong. This transformation process is the embodiment of the "literary" charm of a realistic drama, which deeply attracts the audience. "

- Liu. Ping (researcher at the Institute of Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences)

"'Sanwan Adaptation' is one of the milestone events in the history of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and even the history of the New China Revolution. Most of the films and TV dramas use multiple clues, "Three Bays, That Night" is expressed in a grand narrative with multiple scenes, taking full account of the performance characteristics of a stage play, using a classical dramatic structure to correspond to solemn dramatic materials, seeking innovation and change in narrative perspective and stage expression, and using a distinct three-dimensional approach. The characters, interlocking conflicts and suspense connect the original aspiration and mission of the Communist Party of China that has been unswerving for a hundred years. It can be regarded as a model work of "main theme drama".”

The Long March is an immortal monument in the history of the Chinese revolution

It is a majestic heroic epic!

In 1934, the Communist Party of China led the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army to rely on amazing perseverance to go through 25,000 miles of hardships and obstacles, leading the Chinese revolution on the brink of despair to a smooth road. The monument to the spirit of the great Long March will always stand. From June 25th, 26th, 28th to 30th, the National Center for the Performing Arts’ original Chinese epic opera "The Long March" will be performed for the twelfth time. "As the first true opera among the musical works with the theme of the Long March, "The Long March" composed by Yin Qing is a success. Its important value lies in the fact that the creator started from the subject matter and content, under the guidance of rigorous opera thinking, and based on the classic national opera , avant-garde modern operas and military-themed large-scale vocal works found an opera style and musical language that conforms to contemporary Chinese aesthetics, artistically reproduced the Long March, a miracle in human history, and promoted the great Long March spirit. The exploration and innovation in macro structure, specific technology, and artistic style have explored a new path for the creation of large-scale operas, especially operas with revolutionary historical themes. The valuable experience is worth learning from. "

The musical "The Age of Awakening"

Beijing Radio and Television, Happy Twist

Time: June 29-30

Location: Century Theater

Highlights

Classic reshaping, awakening The sound echoed. Adapted from the popular TV series of the same name that won the "Five One Project Award, Feitian Award, Golden Eagle Award, and Magnolia Award", the new musical version interprets the long scroll of history and stages the passionate youth of a hundred years ago.

Happy Twist's first sing-along musical, a new art form of expression, with thirty original pieces of music throughout, and rich genres.

brings together top-tier young actors in domestic stage plays and musicals such as Xiaolin, Li Leyao, Cui En'er, Lu Runtong, and even the young actor Hou Jingjian who plays Mao Zedong in the TV series. The song of awakening is sung again, stirring up new trends, and the sound will never end!

"The two composers of the musical "The Age of Awakening" are Chen Qifeng and Wei Huhu, who created suitable melody for the whole play.It is worth mentioning that the singing parts of the two female protagonists Gao Junman and Zhao Renlan in the musical "The Age of Awakening" are very brilliant, whether they are composed once - melody or second time - singing. Among them, the creation and performance of the role of Gao Junman are particularly outstanding. The performance of the actor who plays Gao Junman can be regarded as a highlight of the whole drama. Whether it is the actor's basic skills display, or the control of the voice, whether it is the beauty of the tone, or the immersive interpretation of the characters in the play, it seems to be "stealing the scene" that overwhelms the two male protagonists. Of course, this kind of "stealing the show" is what the author desires. In other words, this kind of "stealing the show" is exactly what current stage performances are lacking. I sincerely hope that more and more actors will "steal the show" like this. ”

Didactic preaching must be removed from the shelves and replaced by children's It is difficult to tell stories with themes that children can understand, recognize and learn, and to tell stories that are close to children’s way of thinking. Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China and academician of the Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, said that in recent years, the National Art Museum of China and Italy have maintained good exchanges and cooperation. In 2020, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the sculpture "Dialogue Beyond Time and Space - Leonardo da Vinci and Qi Baishi" was settled in Vinci, Italy, and was permanently collected by the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, becoming a wealth of Italian public culture. This year marks the 54th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy. We hope to take this opportunity to continue the ongoing cultural dialogue between China and Italy and contribute to the process of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

The Florence Academy of Art in Italy originated in 1339, proposed to Cosimo I de' Medici by the master of painting and architecture Giorgio Vasari, and was founded in Florence, Italy in 1563. Beijing Hanhai 2024 Spring Auction

Location: Beijing International Hotel

Time: June 25-27

Highlights

Beijing Hanhai 2024 Spring Auction will kick off at Beijing International Hotel on June 25-27, with previews on June 25-26, June The gavel was officially raised on the 27th. This spring auction will launch three special sessions of modern calligraphy and painting, ancient calligraphy and painting, and antiques and curios, with more than 1,300 pieces of cultural relics and art, providing rich and diverse choices for collection and investment.

Antiques and Curios Special specializes in the "Retouching - Qing Dynasty Monochrome Glazed Porcelain" section. The single-color glazed porcelain of the Qing Dynasty was further developed on the basis of the single-color glazed porcelain of the Ming Dynasty. According to Tang Ying's "Cao Cheng Chronicle Stele" at the end of Yongzheng's reign, there were 57 types of glazes and colors fired in the imperial kiln at that time, most of which were single-color glazed porcelain. A large number of handed down products also prove that the single-color glazed porcelain of the Qing Dynasty was both antique and innovative, and its achievements surpassed those of the previous generation, fully reflecting the superb technology of porcelain production.

In addition, in the Chinese calligraphy and painting market, the price system of works by first-line famous artists has been basically stable, while among second- and third-tier artists, representative masterpieces with special themes can also be created. Another reason for good results is that works with good provenance, never seen before, long storage life, and low turnover rate often become "dark horses" at auctions.

In the Hanhai 2024 Spring Auction, nearly a thousand works will be launched in two special sessions of Chinese calligraphy and painting, with a neat lineup and moderate valuations.

One is two: Mirror image and illusion

Location: Taikang Art Museum

Time: June 16th - July 31

Highlights

When Emperor Qianlong passed "Cosplay" has a dialogue with the people of the Song Dynasty from a distance. How can we start a wonderful interaction with Emperor Qianlong in the exhibition now?

Based on the philosophical proposition contained in "One is Two", Taikang Art Museum is about to launch the first group exhibition not focusing on the Taikang collection, "One is Two: Mirroring and Illusion." The exhibition dismantles "Is One Is Two Pictures", on the one hand, it takes the transformation and borrowing of various ancient aesthetic images in the context of contemporary art - even if these correspondences are coincidences caused by the artist's inadvertent state of consciousness; on the other hand, On the one hand, the atmosphere revealed by ancient paintings seems to serve as a warning to reflect on the shortcomings caused by the rapid development, isolation of people, and lack of ultimate meaning in the process of modernity. This is also the creation of artists from around the world selected for the exhibition. issues we face together.

This exhibition is curated by curator Yang Zi. The exhibition cleverly connects the subtle metaphors, whether concrete or abstract, between contemporary art works and "One is Two Pictures". The exhibited works not only reflect the unremitting exploration of self-image and identity by fifteen Chinese and foreign artists, but also expand the dimensions of our understanding of the world with local Chinese philosophical ideas. As the curator Yang Zi said, "One is one, two is neither, nor is it separate" symbolizes art's recursive questioning of itself, and "Confucianism can be mixed and Mo can be" points to the political proposition of tolerance and symbiosis of different civilizations. There is also a portrait of Qianlong hanging in the painting of Qianlong. The image of the king seems to have been proved to exist, and it is regarded as an illusory image representation - if the self is just an illusion, "why worry about it"?

If the exhibition is like a huge and gorgeous maze, then "One or Two Pictures" is the "map" in our hands. It takes us through time and space to unravel the mysteries hidden inside and outside the paintings.
